Come learn about Arabia's natural and cultural resources as we take in the views and provide you with a better understaanding of local history, industry, and the ecology of the Preserve. Hikes are moderate for 1-2 hours. Please dress for the weather and bring a refillable water bottle and snacks. AWARE - the Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort, dedicated to rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife - offers free tours every Sat and Sun. Meet on the front porch slightly before 1pm. Meet some of AWARE's ambassador animals and learn about their lives, habitats, prey, and more. Ambassadors will vary but may include owls, hawks, snakes, possums, and/or turtles, among others. Friends of Panola Mountain Extended Hike

Take a guided hike with a trained "Friends of Panola" volunteer, through the restricted Conservation Area and up to the summit of Panola Mountain. This is a 5-mile, semi-off trail, strenuous hike that offers a variety of beautiful views and unique perspectives on the park. Must call to register in advance.

Homeschool Days
