Registration is open now for the 10th edition of the AWARE Wildlife Night Owl 5K! Atlanta’s prettiest run/walk will wind through the Panola Mountain State Park forest, cross Alexander Lake, and return to the pavilion for awards and refreshments. You’ll enjoy seeing rescued AWARE ambassador wildlife along the way, including owls, hawks, opossums, and more.

Here’s what you need to know!

WHO – You! Everyone is welcome. Walkers are especially welcome – about half the participants will walk. Dogs are welcome on leashes.
WHAT – A 5K run/walk on park trails. Registration is $40 and all particapants get a 10th Night Owl t-shirt designed by Gary Book.
WHEN – Saturday, April 27th, 6pm start (show up at least 30 minutes early)
WHERE – Alexander Lake Pavilion, Panola Mountain State Park, just east of 285
WHY – For wildlife! All proceeds support AWARE’s mission of wildlife rehabilitation and education.
