Miles of trails. Endless adventure.

Come hike in the National Heritage Area.

A Variety of Trails

The Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area contains dozens of miles of trails, from the paved Arabia Mountain PATH to the myriad of paths that wind through Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, Panola Mountain State Park and the rest of this nationally significant landscape. Meander through meadows and across mountains, along lakes and over streams, as you explore the beauty of the Georgia Piedmont.

Our variety of trails offer outdoor recreation opportunities for everyone, whatever their comfort level. Walk (or roll) along the 33+ mile Arabia Mountain PATH, a paved multiuse trail that connects sites throughout the National Heritage Area. Step into the woods and see the ruins of old quarry buildings, walk along beautiful overlooks and even venture onto the granite outcrops themselves. You can sign up for a ranger-led hike at our events page.

Dogs are welcome in the National Heritage Area, too – check out our Bark Ranger program for hiking guidelines and a chance to earn a badge!
