Your State Parks Day

Join one of the biggest volunteer events of the year at Panola Mountain State Park! We’re celebrating Your State Parks Day and National Public Lands Day so we’ve set up several exciting volunteer projects for you. Throughout the park you can help by cleaning up rivers and lakes, removing non-native plants, and restoring native grassland by planting wildflowers.

During the day you’ll also have the  opportunity to learn about the park’s  resources, meet other people, and become a steward of the park! When you volunteer here you can truly say, “Panola Mountain  is my park!”

As a special THANK YOU all volunteers will receive
Free Parking
Free picnic lunch
Ice cream dessert
Exclusive shirt

We’ll celebrate all of our hard work with music and yard games as well!
