Celebrate Black History Month and join Johnny Waits of the Flat Rock Archive to learn about our rich African American history in South DeKalb County. We will visit the Flat Rock Archive, historic cemeteries, homesteads, and experience the unique culture of Flat Rock with living descendants of the oldest families in DeKalb.

The tour will  start at the Davidson Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve and we’ll caravan and hike  as a group to different sites within the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.
