Submissions are open for the 3rd Annual Georgia State Parks Highschool Art Contest! Show off your creativity for a chance to have your artwork featured at the Georgia State Capitol in 2027! Georgia high school students are encouraged to create a painting or drawing that showcases a landscape, historic site, or nature feature of Georgia’s State Parks.

Need some inspiration? Join us at Alexander Lakes, September 12th from 3PM-5PM. We will have materials for watercolors available, but you are welcome to bring your own preferred materials. This is not a painting class; Rather, this is an opportunity to explore and interpret the landscape alongside a park ranger, ask questions, and learn more about the contest guidelines and submission process.
