Bike and Hike at Arabia Mountain

This guided ride will start at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, We’ll meander down the curves and bends of the Arabia Mountain Path (AMP). This paved trail will lead us to the Laurel Creek Trail. We’ll park our bikes and hike this peaceful soft trail. The group will then return to the Nature Center.

Hiking, a campfire and storytelling; what a great combination! We have two event options below. Pick one, or stay for an entire evening of family fun! This is a rain or shine event, so bring your galoshes if we get a shower! 3pm – 5pm: We’ll gather at the Nature Center and then head off on a beginner hike (about 1 mile). We’ll stop in a few shady spots for story breaks. The folktales will be suited to the age of the children…

Week-Long Archery Camp

Designed with everything archery in mind, this 5-day archery camp aims to educate and engage adventurous youth. Campers (ages 7-15) will shoot basic distances inside the nature center and then move onto the lake pavilion, static range, and 3-d range.
