Volunteer: Habitat Restoration Workday At Historic Wilburn Farm

Birds Georgia is restoring approximately 20 acres of grassland for birds and other wildlife at the Historic Wilburn Farm in the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. The goal of this workday is to continue removing invasive species from the meadows and surrounding woods. This site is close to Panola Mountain State Park, you will receive the address after registering.

What to bring?
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy shoes
  • Close-toed shoes – boots recommended
  • Recommended but not required: sunglasses, binoculars (it’s a great spot for birding!)
