SRWA partners with Georgia EPD Rivers Alive for this annual event! We will have two crews – one picking up trash on land and the other on the water.

YOU PICK ONE:

Panola Shoals Land Crew: Clean up the beach! Closed-toed and/or water-proof shoes required. Kids 12+ welcome with adult supervision. Arrive at Panola Shoals Trailhead at 9:00am. We’ll wrap at around noon.

Kayak/Canoe River Crew (All gear provided): Remove tires & trash on the river from Panola Shoals to Panola Mountain State Park. Adults only. You may be assigned to a kayak or a canoe. Arrive at Panola Mountain State Park Alexander Lake parking lot at 8:30am. You will be shuttled to Panola Shoals. We’ll make it back to Alexander Lake around 3pm.
