Birds Georgia is restoring 20 acres of grassland for birds and wildlife at the Historic Wilburn Farm in the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. In partnership with the Georgia Native Plant Society, we’re hosting a seed collection workshop on Saturday, November 9th from 9 am to 12 pm to gather native seeds that will be used to restore the site after invasive species removal. This is a hands-on opportunity to support local wildlife and improve the habitat for native birds. The first hour will be a standard workday to allow the grasses to dry before collecting their seeds.
