Don’t let that leafy green plant fool you! While it looks like a normal plant, Privet is really an aggressive invader that grows so fast and dense that it cuts off food and space for our native plants.

We have a large area that has been completely overrun by Privet and we need your help to keep it from spreading. Each Privet plant can produce hundreds of seeds in the spring and summer so we need to remove it from the park now.

We have all the tools needed so please come join us as we cut, chop, and mulch this invader down to size!
