Power of Flight Walk
Apr 2 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Did you know native grasslands are one of the fastest disappearing habitats? Join a ranger on a two-mile walk to “take flight” and learn how this habitat is important to many of our native birds and pollinators, how Panola Mountain State Park and other partners have worked to restore an ecosystem in peril, and how you can help too!
Meet at the Alexander Lake Parking Lot – 4965 Flat Bridge Rd. Stockbridge, Ga 30281. This hike is easy with little changes in terrain and elevation. Bring plenty of water, bug spray, closed toed shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and a pair of binoculars. No pets on this hike, please. Ages 6+
Event Fees and Phone Number: $10 plus $5 parking. 770-389-7801.
