Due to rain, this event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 12!

Horace King was a master bridge builder and Freeman in the Antebellum South. Meet us at Murphy-Candler Trailhead at 1pm to celebrate his life and work. There will be a welcome and refreshments followed by a leisurely walk to the bridge (0.5 mi) for a short presentation by Horace King enthusiast Evonne Blythers and a sign unveiling. Golf Cart transportation will be available for those who require it.
