Homeschool at Panola: What’s in Panola Creek?

What’s a watershed and what makes them important? Join the rangers to learn about the important role watersheds play for people, plants, and animals. We will have a hands-on classroom activity to discuss watersheds and then hike the Watershed Trail (1.25 miles) to look for amphibians and macro-invertebrates in Panola Creek.

Meet at the Nature Center.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, and water shoes or rainboots. We will provide nets and viewing containers.

Pre-Registration is required. Please call the park office at 770-389-7801 to register.

Ages 6-12 years old, $8/ participant
