Oct 1, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Saturday, repeating until Nov 12, 2016

Enjoy the beautiful, slow changing colors of the fall leaves as you hike up Panola Mountain. But the beauty doesn’t end where the trees stop. The tip of Panola blooms yellow with Confederate Daisies. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water for this moderate to strenuous hike. Pre-registration is required.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Hike is only canceled if the mountain is too slippery to hike. Pack a snack and your camera. These hikes offer beautiful vistas. All of out Mountain hikes are lead by park staff or members of Friends of Panola Mountain. All donations to Friends of Panola come right back to your favorite State Park. Join Friends Today! Sorry, no pets allowed in the Conservation Area.
Admission: $5
