The Arabia Alliance Staff will guide you on a Daisy Days morning hike. Thursdays through September we will find less well known outcrops where you can enjoy and photograph the beautiful Helianthus porteri, or Porter’s Sunflower – known as the yellow “daisy” of the monadnocks! Each Thursday we will meet in a different location to seek and find these yellow beauties native to the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.

This Thursday, we will leave from the south lot of Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve – the AWARE parking lot. Parking is tight here, so we ask that you carpool or park at the north lot near the Nature Center and walk the boardwalk down to the south end of the mountain, if you are able.
