Take a guided hike with a trained "Friends of Panola" volunteer, through the restricted Conservation Area and up to the summit of Panola Mountain. This is a 5-mile, semi-off trail, strenuous hike that offers a variety of beautiful views and unique perspectives on the park. Must call to register in advance.

Bring your binoculars for this gentle hike through the park's satellite property, Vaughter's Farm, on the Meadow Loop. Basic identification techniques and common birds will be discussed. Good for all ages. We recommend long pants and sleeves. Meet at Vaughter's Farm Trailhead. Donations of birdseed for our Nature Center are appreciated.

Learn about Panola's rich history through hands-on living history demonstrations that depict everyday family life during the 1820s and 1830s at the Parker House. Visitors will get to participate in activities such as: candle making, butter churning, cooking, making rag dolls, and other period games all from guides in historic period clothing.

During our Cosmic Archery program you will get to fine tune your archery skills in the dark with the assistance of black lights, glow in the dark targets, and glow sticks.
