Join us for a ranger-led hike up Panola Mountain to enjoy the sunset over Atlanta. The moonlight will guide us down to a lakeside campfire, where we'll enjoy s'mores! Bring flashlights, bug spray, hiking boots and water. Ages 10 and up. Space is limited. Call the Nature Center to register.

Join our Archery Instructor for this spectacular program! During our Cosmic Archery program you will get to fine tune your archery skills in the dark with the assistance of black lights, glow in the dark targets, and glow sticks. Who says summer camp is just for kids? Join this one of a kind adults-only summer camp. Campers will get to spend two nights sleeping in the tree canopy, learning to cook meals over a campfire, the basics of canoeing on a lake, kayaking a river, bouldering, tree climbing, fly fishing and archery.

Homeschoolers! Join our Interpretive Ranger for our monthly home school program on the first Thursday and second Wednesday of each month. Designed for children ages 6-12 to introduce them to a variety of nature-themed topics. Cost is $8/child. Call 770-389-7801 to register. Space is limited.

Improve your archery skills in this class that focuses on accuracy and shooting farther distances. Students must attend three basic archery classes before attending this program. Meet at Alexander Lake pavilion. Participants must call Nature Center to register no later than the day before the class is scheduled AND pay in advance.

This FREE class will be taking place at our Nature Center. There will be a short video and then a K-9 demonstration with Keegan and a question and answer session with one of our Search and Rescue members.
