Tara Muenz from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources will lead an evening of slimy fun about volunteer salamander and frog monitoring and identification.  Monitoring amphibians helps fill in our knowledge gaps of these amazing critters while identifying habitat crucial for their survival. Bring boots/shoes for wading and a flashlight.

Did you know fall is a great time for birding? Come along with Atlanta Audubon for a bird walk to observe the fall migration and see the many habitats of the Preserve.  Our 2.5 mile hike will take us up Arabia Mountain and through forests, outcrops, open fields, and wetlands.
