Grab your bike and sense of adventure as we bike 16 miles round trip from Panola Mountain State Park to Davidson-Arabia Nature Preserve and back. Guided by Park Rangers, we’ll make stops at several cultural sites and trails to learn more about the history and landscape of the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.

Did you know Hognose Snakes will “play dead” when they’re afraid? Learn about and meet fascinating reptiles and amphibians from our own backyards and even around the world. Meet specialists and members of the Georgia Reptile Society and Georgia Herpetological Society.

Join a Panola Mountain park ranger and other home schoolers during this educational program. We'll discuss different topics related to science and nature typically relating to the current season.

Peter Cottontail is leaving lots of eggs hidden on our nature trails this spring. Bring your basket and picnic to spend the day at the park. Ages 1-5 and 6-11 will have their own trails to search for eggs and prizes. We will start the egg hunt at 10 AM, leaving plenty of time for story-time before lunch.

Join us on a ranger-led hike up Panola Mountain to enjoy the sunset over Atlanta. The moonlight will guide us down to a lakeside campfire where we'll enjoy s'mores! Bring flashlights, hiking boots and water. Ages 10 and up. Please call to register in advance.
