You can only get this experience once in a blue moon! Rangers are leading an evening hike to the top of Panola Mountain. From there you'll get to watch the sunset and see the blue moon rises! This event will end with a campfire and well deserved s'mores!

Have you ever wanted to release your inner archer? Maybe you're just looking for a place to hone your skills, no matter the weather. Panola's indoor archery classes are a great place to brush-up on the basics or start from scratch with the guidance of a certified instructor. All equipment is provided!

Hot dog, summer's almost over! Time for one last day in the park with your family, and that means Fido too! There will be Tree Climbing ($5), pet adoptions, a silent auction, a canine obstacle course, K-9 search and rescue teams, face painting, a guided dog walk around the lake, and games for you and your pooch alike.

Ever wonder why Panola Mountain is a restricted area? Come on a guided hike for a close-up look at our unique ecology and see how outcrop plants beat the summer heat. Wear sturdy hiking shoes, bug spray, and bring plenty of water.

Come out on a limb and join Panola Rangers for adventure while exploring the canopy above. Participants will use rope and harness for this moderately strenuous, very unique activity. One group will start at 1pm and the next will start at 3pm.
