The Art of Storytelling with Ranger Jonah at Rock Chapel II Park

FREEWhat to expect: Our group will gather in a covered space for an hour of storytelling and discussion, led by Ranger Jonah. Stick around after the storytelling to roast marshmallows around a campfire.
Program leader: Your guide & storyteller will be Ranger Jonah McDonald, the DeKalb County Park Naturalist at Mason Mill Park.
Where to meet: Enter the Rock Chapel II Park gates at 1185 Rock Chapel Rd and park near the park headquarters building. Storytelling will be in the large pavilion.
What to bring: We recommend bringing camp chairs as seating is limited. Dress for the weather and bring a refillable water bottle.
Recommended ages: This program is designed for families and children, but all ages are welcome.
Dogs: This program is not appropriate for dogs, so please leave your pup at home.
Weather contingency: This program will be held rain or shine under a covered pavilion.
Walking distance: >100 yards
Exposure: Storytelling will be held under a covered pavilion.
Trail surface & accessibility: A paved sidewalk leads to a paved pavilion with less than 5% grade. Access to the campfire requires traveling across grass.
