FreeJoin us as we partner with the South River Watershed Alliance to help clean-up and restore native vegetation to the bank of the South River. Wear work shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy and long pants. Don’t forget gloves, a water bottle, and snacks too. Meet at Alexander Lake Area Parking Lot. The first step is to remove invasive plants and litter from the bank, so bring your determination and a can-do attitude! In the spring we will transplant native River Cane into the area to help stop erosion. Dates are subject to change based on weather.
