Join this relaxing morning of fishing, through a partnership between EMBARC and the Arabia Alliance! As you enter the gate of the park, you will follow the sign for parking and park in the horse corral on the right at the top of the hill. There will be signs and cones to help with parking.

There will be limited equipment to borrow, so you’re encouraged to bring your own gear. It is also highly encouraged for life jackets to be worn by children under the age of 10 or any participants who don’t know how to swim.

You will need to bring your own bait, or be prepared to search for worms on the pond’s bank.

Kids will have an opportunity to earn a Junior Angler Badge from the Alliance’s Ranger Jennifer and Ranger Evonne.

Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing as well as your own water and snacks. The pond is approximately 500 yards away from the parking, so you are welcome to bring wagons or other containers to help move equipment from your car to the pond.

If you have an easily transportable camp chair or outdoor sitting mat, feel free to bring those as well since there is limited seating provided. Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection, as well as insect repellent to keep the bugs at bay.

Space is limited, so please make sure to reserve your tickets early! Children under 12 do not need a reserved ticket.
