Walk or run a fun 5k race and help AWARE save wild animals at the same time! This year’s course is new and is a mix of paved and hard-packed trails, winding through beautiful Panola Mountain State Park, one of the jewels of the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area.

Participants receive encouragement towards the finish line from AWARE’s ambassador animals, including owls and hawks. Refreshments are available before and after the race for your fueling and refueling needs. Participants who register by June 2 will receive a newly designed Night Owl 5K shirt.
