Happy Earth Day!

This year, we celebrate 50 years of Earth Day. This is a time to reflect and act on ways to protect our beautiful, fragile, resilient planet, and all the wild creatures and places we love. Join us as we celebrate the natural world.
We are also excited to announce that the Georgia Department of Natural Resources has awarded Rockdale County and the South River Watershed Alliance a $200,000 grant to create two access points to the South River. This development is the beginning of the South River Water Trail, a conservation and recreation project that will ultimately allow people to canoe and kayak all the way from DeKalb County to Lake Jackson.
