See scaly and exotic live reptiles from around the world and from your own backyard during the second annual Reptile Day at Panola Mountain State Park. On Saturday March 15th you can see these cold blooded creatures up close and learn about fascinating behaviors during live demonstrations. The doors open at 10am and the event lasts until 3pm!

With over a dozen presenters you’re sure to learn something new! For example did you know that possums aren’t the only critter that plays dead? Hognose snakes will hiss, flip over, stick out their tongue, and then lie still in the hopes that they will be left alone by predators.

Admission is $3 for everyone over 3 years old. Georgia State Parks Pass holders can park for free; all others must pay $5 per vehicle. We hope to see you during this exciting day-long celebration of reptiles!
