I enjoyed volunteering at the Nature Preserve. It made me realize my passion for nature was more than I expected. The staff was amazing and kind and it was a fun experience. I did everything from bike patrol to taking summer camps on hikes, and everything in between. I used to go to the nature preserve with my family and so I was able to learn all of the trails before I volunteered. When I finally got the chance to take a camp on a hike as a tour guide it was awesome, and plus we didn’t get lost! It was just great overall, and will be volunteering here for years to come.
