The Liberated Life and Turbulent Times of Frederick Douglass @ Stonecrest Library

Join the Stonecrest Library and friends in celebrating the life of Frederick Douglass and his contributions to America’s triumph over slavery. Former Atlanta Hawks player Mike “Stinger” Glenn will share items from his personal collection including first edition books, newspapers, and other historic document that illuminate Frederick Douglass’ experience in America. Also Nettie Washington Douglass, the great-great granddaughter of Frederick Douglass and Chairwoman of the Frederick Douglass Family Foundation will be a special guest. This event is free to attend and will be an illuminating experience for all attendees.
