Rivers Alive Cleanup with the South River Watershed Allaince

The Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4 and Georgia Environmental Protection Division will join forces on Friday, October 18 for Rivers Alive – Part 2. Volunteers from the two agencies will remove tires and trash from the South River beginning just downstream of Panola Shoals and ending at Panola Mountain State Park, a distance of approximately two and a half miles. The event will begin at 9:00 and is open to all volunteers. Community volunteers email Jackie at southriverwatershedalliance@gmail.com to sign up.
