Geocaching 101 for Families – Event is full! Register for the October 17th Class.

Nov 7, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

Sixty treasure boxes, or geocaches, are hidden at the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area for everyone to discover.  Concealed from the eye, yet adored by fans of geocaching, these boxes can be found using a smart phone or a GPS device.  In this family-friendly class, fifteen teams of families learn about the basics of geocaching and the techniques to find a geocache in the National Heritage Area from a trained instructor.  With geocaching, a smart phone or GPS device can be a tool to heighten geography and mapping skills and to build family bonds. REGISTER NOW!
