Peter Cottontail is leaving brightly colored eggs along the nature trails of Panola Mountain State Park. Bring your own basket and collect as many as you can!  This is the first year that the park is hosting an egg hunt and it’s sure to be a day filled with happy memories. Hanna Penn, Park Ranger said, “We’ve got lots of fantastic activities and surprises planned for the day. Make sure to bring a picnic lunch so you can stay and enjoy everything.”

The egg hunt is on Saturday, Apr 19, 2014 starting at 1pm. Children ages 1-5 and 6-11 will have their own trails to search for eggs and prizes. After the egg hunt stay and enjoy a day filled with face painting, crafts, and games. With so much to do you won’t want to miss this egg-tremely fun event!
