Atlanta Audubon Society Bird Walk @ Panola Mountain State Park

Mar 15, 2014 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$5

This event is part of Monadnock Madness, a month long event that invites you to discover three local granite peaks in one month, or in just one day! We want you to get up close and personal with Arabia, Panola, and Stone Mountain parks!

Bring your binoculars for this gentle hike through the park’s Power of Flight area! Come discuss basic identification techniques and common birds with Atlanta Audubon Society members. This is a great even for all ages. We recommend wearing long pants and sleeves to avoid any irritation, and please arrive early at the Alexander Lake Area. Donations of birdseed are appreciated. This event is free, but there is a $5 parking fee for the Park. Register in advance by calling the Nature Center at 770-389-7801.
